In the virtual classroom the questionnaires can be useful:
- to evaluate students (exams, questionnaires),
- so that the students themselves can evaluate themselves,
- why students practice certain content.
To create one:
- Add an activity or resource (see the guide How to add an activity or resource).
- Select Quiz.
- Enter a Name and, if desired, a description of the activity, in the General section.
If you wish, you can make the description visible from the course page. If you do not check it, it will be displayed once the student accesses the activity.
Among other parameters you can configure:
- the timing of the activity:
- If you wish, you can establish dates during which the questionnaire will be visible and accessible.
- Independent of the previous point, you can also establish a time limit to complete the questionnaire (Time limit)
IMPORTANT. If you establish it, try to leave some time in case someone has certain difficulties accessing it.
- aspects related to Qualification. You may indicate:
- the gradebook category in which this activity will be included,
- The minimum passing grade – affects the color in which the student’s grade will appear in the Gradebook.,
- the number of attempts allowed,
- what is the grading method.
- Review Options – what the student will be able to see of their attempts at different times:
- while making the attempt,
- immediately after each attempt,
- later, while the questionnaire is open,
- once the questionnaire is closed.
Once you have configured the options you want, to return to the course click Save and return to course.
