Wooclap, or how to add (more) interaction in the virtual classroom

Wooclap is a tool for interacting, capture attention and measure understanding in the classroom. Synchronous or asynchronous.

It helps to introduce more interactivity in the classroom, posing questions that can be evaluated (if desired), open-response questions or simply creating spaces for reflection and collaborative work in the classroom. In addition, students can work and participate in the activity either individually or in groups.

Wooclap allows you to create quizzes – and view their results in Gradebook if the activity has been configured as evaluable – but it also allows you to create and/or upload Power Point presentations, Google Slides or Keynote to interact with students fluently at the right moment.

To do this, you will find:

  • More than 20 types of questions to choose from (test type, open question, survey, brainstorming, filling in the blanks, ordering, among others).
  • Example galleries of questions – you can reuse or view them to learn how they work.

You can also import them.

As for the answers, you can configure the tool so that they are anonymous or that the name of the person responding appears (this can be useful if you carry out a research activity). brainstorming, for example).

Students will be able to participate from any mobile device, once the teachers have shared the classroom access code.

NOTE. The activity created will be a test and not accessible.

We will soon publish a guide on the complete operation of this tool.
