In the Virtual Campus you can give access to the classroom to a whole Sigma or TCS group-class.
If you need it, you also have the option to give access only to:
- a student (or a group of them) belonging to a Sigma group or
- to a student (or a group of them) not belonging to any Sigma group.
Upon enrolment in the classroom, these students will form part of a group called IMO and will have access to the classroom as students. This group is also called a “dummy group”.
Once in the IMO group, you can unsubscribe them when necessary.
Remember: students enrolled in Sigma or TCS teaching groups cannot be removed from these groups (you can however remove a whole teaching group).
Actions to add or remove students from a fictitious group are carried out from the student management section of the classroom. Clic on the Add/remove students from a non-Sigma group tab.
To add a student, enter her/his NIU and click Assign. If you want to do a bulk registration, enter the NIUs separated by commas.
To delete a student, click the Remove button next to their name.
