If there are teaching groups or groups created by teachers (local groups) in the classroom, you can use Quickmail to communicate with only one of these groups. Unlike the Announcement Forum, only an email will be sent to people who are part of the selected group.
NOTES
- To do this it is necessary that the groups previously exist in the classroom (see the entry Work with groups if you want to create the groups and have questions about how to do it).
- You must have the Quickmail blog activated. See the entry How to activate the blog Quickmail to send emails to students if you need help.
How to send a message to a group
- From the main course page, open the blogs drawer and look for the Quickmail one.
- In the To field, type the name of the group you want to send the message to or choose the drop-down menu.
- Configure the rest of the message fields (Subject, Body, Attachments (if applicable), the sending date (if you want to schedule it) and if you want to receive a copy).
- Click Send message.
