To manually create a grade item to the gradebook:

• Access the classroom grade book.
• Click on Grader report to display your options.

• Select Gradebook setup.

 

• Click Add grade item.

• Configure the rating element by indicating,
  • its name,
  • the grade type (value, scale, text).
    • If you choose value, please indicate the maximum grade and the minimum grade.
    • If you choose scale, please indicate the scale the grade item will use.
    • If you choose text you do not have to indicate anything else.
  • You can optionally indicate
    • if it is hidden from students and/or locked,
    • in what category is it and what weight will it have in the calculation of the grade for the course.

• To finish, click Save changes.
