How to send messages only to members of a group

PREVIOUS. In the classroom, you can use the Announcements forum or any other forum you have created to communicate with students. If you use them:

  • The message is posted in the classroom.
  • A copy of the message is sent by email.

 

If it is not important for the message to be posted in the classroom, you can also use the classroom messaging system to communicate with students.

When working with groups in the classroom, one way to send messages to all members of a single group is as follows:

  • Access Participants.
  • In the filter menu, select the student group and click Apply filters to see the people in it.

  • It will display the list of people that make it up.
  • Select all people.
  • At the bottom of the page, to With selected users…

Option to send a message to the members in a group

  • Choose the Send a message option.
  • You can then continue with the process of sending the message.
