• Turn editing on
• Place the mouse where you want to create the assignment and click on the + button (see the entry How to create an activity or a resource for more information).

• Select the Offline quiz activity and click on it to create it.

• Fill in the Offline quiz name. If you wish you can also add a description in the Description field. Check the Display description on course page option, if that is what you want.

• Fill in the fields Offline questionnaire name. If you wish, you can also fill in the Description field and make it visible on the main page (by selecting the option Show description on the course page) or make it visible only when accessing the activity.

• Configure the exam by indicating:
  • The day the in-person exam will take place (Date of offline quiz).
  • The number of exam models (Number of groups).
  • When and what feedback students will see (section Students can see):
    • The attempt.
    • Whether it is correct.
    • The score obtained.
    • The student’s document with the answers they have selected.
    • The automatic grading with the scores.
    • Which is the correct answer.
    • The specific and/or general feedback.

To finish, click Save changes and return to course.

Once the activity created you will have to click on it and add the questions.
