If you need or want to reuse the question bank of a virtual classroom, we advise you to take the following into account.
Do you need to transfer all the questions from the bank?
- Review the question bank that you want to copy to another classroom. Do a little cleaning and eliminate those questions that may have become obsolete or that you are not using in any classroom questionnaires. IMPORTANT. You can only delete those questions that are not being used in any questionnaire.
- Export it and import it into the new classroom.
- Once imported, check to see if there are any questions that you were unable to delete and will not use. It’s time to eliminate it.
Do you only need to move questions from one category?
- Review the questions in it and delete those that you do not need and that are not being used in any questionnaire.
- Export only the category and import it into the new classroom.
- Once imported, check again to see if there are any questions that you were unable to delete previously and that you will not use in the new classroom.
Do you need to transfer questions from two or more categories (without being the entire classroom bank)?
- In this case, the suggestion is that you export and import each category individually, following the recommendations in the previous point.
Do you need to transfer some questions belonging to several categories?
OPTION 1.
- You can move the categories to the new classroom (following the previous point).
- Once imported into the new classroom, delete any questions you don’t need.
- If necessary, create a new category that groups the imported questions.
OPTION 2.
- Create a new category, which you will export and import to the new classroom.
- Duplicate those questions you want to move.
- Move them to the category you created.
- Export and import this new category, with its questions, into the new classroom, following the previous points.
