The use of this platform must comply with the internal regulation of the UAB which govern the treatment of the content on the Virtual Campus in order to respect the intellectual property rights of third parties (article 32-39 of the recast text of current regulations in the field of information and communication technologies of the UAB, approved by the agreements of the Governing Council nº 37/2001, on 13 July 2001 and nº 33/2012, on 25 April 2012).

Section III. Publication on the Online Campus
Chapter I. General regulations
Article 32. Definition
The Online Campus of the UAB and the tools associated with it are online tools created to offer the university community information, communication and teaching functions for blended teaching (classroom based and distance learning).
Article 33. Responsible body
The commissioner of the Rector for the Information Society of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, or the person with an equivalent position, must ensure the fulfilment of the content of this document and has the support of the Oficina de l’Autònoma Interactiva Docent (OAID) and the ICT Management of the UAB. The OAID is responsible for the functioning and administration of these tools.
Chapter II. Teaching material on the Online Campus
Article 34. Content of published material
Teaching staff of the UAB may publish the teaching material corresponding to the classes for which they are responsible on the Online Campus of the UAB, for use by their students, as long as they comply with the requirements demanded in this document. Those responsible for academic spaces or coordination are subject to the same considerations.
Article 35. Authorship of published material and authorisation to publish
Teaching material to be published on the Online Campus of the UAB must be the original material of the lecturer responsible for the subject, or have the corresponding authorisation of the authors or owners of the authorship rights of the material. Under no circumstances may teaching material be published on the Online Campus or in the tools associated with it which may infringe authorship rights. Teaching staff and those responsible for the spaces may use materials for academic purposes in accordance with that set out in Royal Decree 1/1996, 12 April 1996, which approves the recast text of the Law on Intellectual Property.
Article 36. Publication of teaching material
The publication of material on the Online Campus (or the associated tools) of the UAB must be carried out by teaching staff themselves, wherever possible, or the OAID or someone delegated by that office for the task. The OAID may not under any circumstances publish teaching material that has not been made available by the lecturer responsible for that purpose.
Article 37. Responsibilities in the publication of teaching material
Teaching staff publishing teaching material on the Online Campus of the UAN are responsible before the UAB for any conflict, claims and action that may result from the failure to fulfil the content of this document.
Article 38. Access to teaching material
Access to teaching material for a subject published on the Online Campus of the UAB is reserved for the students registered for the corresponding subject. However, teaching staff responsible for the subject may request public access to the teaching materials published on the Online Campus of the UAB from the OAID.
Article 39. Failure to fulfil rules of access to teaching materials
Activities which lead to failure to respect the content of the previous article shall be subject to that established in document IV of these regulations, which regulates the security measures for people using the computer resources of the UAB.
